Help Us Transform Nursing and Midwifery Education in Kurdistan
This Fall, your support can make a lasting difference. The RISE Network, in partnership with the Nursing and Midwifery Development Centre (NMDC), is raising funds to send dedicated nurse educators to Kurdistan in 2026. These educators will train the next generation of nurses and midwives, empowering communities with quality healthcare for years to come.
Our Goal: Raise $35,000 to send one nurse educator for a full year. This includes:
Training materials and teaching supplies
Facility use at the NMDC
Lodging, transportation, and travel
Every dollar above our goal allows us to send even more educators—magnifying your impact! Help us send as many nurse educators as possible!
Why It Matters:
Nurses and midwives are the backbone of healthcare in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Trained educators improve the skills and knowledge of healthcare providers, directly benefiting patients and families.
By supporting this program, you help strengthen healthcare systems and improve health outcomes in the region.
