Financial Transparency & Accountability

At the Nursing and Midwifery Development Foundation, we believe that transparency is the foundation of the relationship between a nonprofit and its supporters. We are committed to using every dollar efficiently to further our mission of training nurses and midwives to save mothers and babies.

Our IRS Status

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we maintain our standing with the IRS by filing annual information returns. Because our annual gross receipts have been $50,000 or less during our first three years of operation, we file the Form 990-N (e-Postcard). While the 990-N is a simplified filing, it confirms that we are active, compliant, and meeting our federal reporting requirements.
