RISE Global Health Educators Network

Reach, Inspire, Support, Empower

The RISE Global Health Educators Network is a cornerstone program of the Nursing and Midwifery Development Foundation, RISE brings healthcare professionals from around the world to train and mentor providers in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. RISE strengthens skills of local providers, expands capacity, and supports lasting improvements in healthcare.

RISE stands for Reach, Inspire, Support, Empower—our guiding values.

RISE brings global experts to volunteer for short- and long-term service. RISE Educators work alongside local providers to strengthen training, expand skills, and build lasting capacity. This network is a vital channel for advancing healthcare education and improving outcomes for mothers, children, and communities.

The NMDF invites nurses, midwives, and other health professionals to join the RISE Global Health Educators Network. See our FAQs page, and click here to see current opportunities and to apply.
