Her career spans health policy, nonprofit governance, large-scale event operations, and global humanitarian work—each demonstrating her commitment to strengthening communities and supporting those who serve others.
In addition to her extensive service background, Cindy is a successful real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Realty in Utah, specializing in the luxury home market. With an innate eye for design and a lifelong passion for homes, she curates exceptional real estate experiences for her clients. Cindy leverages her expertise in interior design, landscaping, and furnishings to elevate every transaction, and is known for being prompt, professional, and deeply dedicated to making the home-buying and selling process smooth and enjoyable.
Most recently, Cindy and her husband served as Country Managers for Latter-day Saint Charities in the Middle East/Africa North Area, overseeing humanitarian projects across Iraq. During this assignment, she worked directly with the Nursing and Midwifery Development Centre (NMDC) in the Kurdistan Region, collaborating closely with Executive Director Eva Said. Her on-the-ground experience strengthened her understanding of the urgent need for improved nursing and midwifery capacity in Iraq and inspired her deep commitment to NMDF’s mission.
Cindy began her career in public health, serving as Board Chairman of the Grant County Hospital and Care Home, followed by her role as Director of Operations at the Kansas Health Institute. She has also taught in the Seminary and Institute programs of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and produced national events for Deseret Book’s Time Out for Women.
She currently volunteers as a Branch Missionary at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, supporting the training and administration of more than 2,800 missionaries at a time.
Cindy holds a BA in Human Resource and Organizational Behavior from Friends University. Fluent in Japanese and deeply committed to service, she brings global experience, professional excellence, and heartfelt dedication to NMDF’s mission of strengthening nursing and midwifery worldwide.
